Neuropsychology testing, a process that takes several hours and enables an in-depth understanding of cognitive strengths and weaknesses. The results of these tests are used to help diagnose cognitive dysfunction, dementia and the effects of head-trauma and concussion.
Direct referrals from GPs are welcome, although specialist Neurology assessment is recommended. There are currently no MBS item numbers that cover the costs of Neuropsychology tests.
