Laura is a neurologist with an interest in movement disorders. She graduated in 2009 from the Medical University in Vienna and she obtained her PhD from the university of her home city of Cluj in Romania. Coming to Australia in 2011, she subsequently completed two movement disorders fellowships at Monash Health. Her clinical expertise is in tremor, dystonia, Parkinson’s disease and neurodegenerative disorders. She is actively involved in clinical trial research, and has published a number of well received articles. Her interest in human movement extends to physical exercise, both at scientific and participatory levels.
