Dr Alex Trussell is a consultant neurologist with interests in epilepsy, stroke, functional neurological disorders, and complex headache management.
He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Sydney in 2018 and undertook physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital (Sydney, NSW) before training in Neurology at Gosford and Prince of Wales Hospitals. He has completed fellowship training in epilepsy and stroke at Eastern Health and has an ongoing honorary epilepsy fellowship at Austin Health, where he developed expertise in electroencephalography (EEG) interpretation and video EEG monitoring.
He has been involved in multiple stroke and epilepsy research trials and maintains an active involvement in teaching.
